Keep Pouncing On Us, We Pounce Right Back

  WARNING: THIS IS NOT WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING.

Lately the media has written City off as if we were the Death Star being destroyed.  They write with joy after a loss.  I can hear the laughter as they discuss a goal we conceded, or see them jumping out of their seats with excitement as we draw.  ESPN today has called United level with us even though we have an 8 GD.  They have us finishing 3rd last year based on GD.

We have lost the Toure brothers while they play in Africa for their country, our Captain for red cards and injuries to Silva and Balotelli.  In all of this, we have lost only 4 out of the last 8 matches in all competitions.  So why all the fuss?  Its because we are Manchester City, pissing off the so called Big 4, pissing off the media because we have a bit of money and agitating fans around the world who think they know all about the game.

The truth is, we can bounce right back very easily. Lose against Chelsea, Win 2 draw 1.  A loss against Sunderland saw us pound Liverpool the next match 3-0.  This is a team full of professionals, not a bunch of kids playing FIFA 12 for a living.  Mancini has delivered a lot more these past two seasons then we have seen in the last ten combined.    It's not over by a long shot.

What is actually happening is probably foreseen by the coaching staff before the season starts for any club.  They know players get injured, have international duty and sometimes play with highs and lows.  The staff and players adjust based on strengths and weakness and the schedule they have been given. They know best.

The vast amount of writers out there do not follow a particualr club day to day.   The same thing goes for the  "bloaters" as I call them on your local network.  They are fat on the outside but inside they are full of nothing but hot air.  Some of these so called experts on the TV are just full of skewed stats and skewed verbiage because they are reading from a cue card that some particular low life wrote for them.   Piers Morgan has an awful lot to say about Arsenal and how they are so great.  He speaks nothing of substance.  He ingests whatever he skimmed off the back page of the paper that morning and then spews out a bunch of nonsensical crap.  There are people who think he is smart for having his own talk show.  No he isn't.  He tried picking a fight with Joey Barton on twitter.

I say let the doubters pounce, because this club and it's fans can pounce right back!
